What is the purpose of this site?

My climbing and this website's primary objective are to raise money for Alzheimer's research and to share my experiences with anyone interested and hope to encourage readers to set some lofty goals and have a good time trying to reach them. A priority for me is to raise awareness and research money on behalf of all Alzheimer's patients including my own Mom. All donations for Alzheimer's go directly to my partner and nothing to me.

Please note that all content on this site is a result of significant time and money and as such all images, videos, dispatches, essays and stories are original work and property of Alan Arnette unless otherwise noted. All content is protected by copyright laws. Images contain visible and invisible watermarks to protect my property. Please do not remove any visible marks.

The Blog and Everest Season Coverage are on the site and offer readers the opportunity to post comments. Alan moderates all comments and reserves the right to remove any content he deems knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law at his discretion and without notification.
