|Together we summited K2 on my 58th birthday, July 27, 2014 making history in the process. You made this climb happen as I struggled on summit night, pushing my mind, body and very essence to a place I’ve never been before, I thought of your support, your struggles and our cause around Alzheimer’s. It was your strength and support that gave me the ability to push harder than I ever had on a climb. Standing on the summit was a celebration for everyone. And while the climb is now over, the flight is not.|
Now is the time to make your support tangible by spreading awareness around Alzheimer’s by donating to either Cure Alzheimer’s Fund or UsAgainstAlzheimer’s (see below).
Also, get involved by sponsoring me in your city for a fund raising event where I’ll show you pictures and videos of my K2 climb not previously posted. Together we can celebrate the summit and our progress towards raising $1M for Alzheimer’s.
At the end of the day my climbs are about the cause. I am climbing for hope. This is what it’s really all about. Climbing for change. Climb on, be a hero, and join the fight.
You can sign up as a fund raiser (and set your own goals), become a team captain and lead a team of fundraisers,

USAgainstAlzheimer’s Network has one mission: to end Alzheimer’s by 2020. We work to achieve greater urgency from government, industry and the scientific community in the quest for an Alzheimer’s cure. In the three years since our founding, we have leveraged support from our donors to increase federal funding for Alzheimer’s research by $209 million. Our Founders have pledged to cover all overhead expenses associated with USA so that 100% of your donation will support our innovative programs and platforms.
