\"sunset\"<\/a>Now, advice<\/a> half way around the world. I left as the sun set, and as I arrived the sun was setting again and I still have a long way to go.<\/p>\n

For Alzheimer’s s, many suffer a condition called Sundowning, or sundown syndrome. They get confused and agitated as the sun goes down — and sometimes through the night.<\/p>\n

Also it prevents them from sleeping well, and may cause them to be more likely to wander. Due to the stress it puts on caregivers, sundowning is a common cause of caregiver burnout. (taken from WebMd)<\/p>\n

Lot’s of time to think on a 13 hour flight. I am excited, confident and resolute in the mission. I will give K2 everything I have, and a little more with the overriding goal to return home to my friends and family.<\/p>\n
