In my time, <\/a>  I had come to depend on filtration pumps or iodine to  bad water so when SteriPEN came out with a small, lightweight device that used ultraviolet light to  water, it caught my eye. But it has been a bit expensive.<\/p>\n<p>Early in 2010, REI sent out their annual dividend so combined with a 20% , I picked up the SteriPEN Adventurer model for about half of the retail $100. After five months of heavy use, I though a review was in order. Click the link for all the details.<\/p>\n<p>But the bottom line is I like the SteriPEN. It is small, simple and fast.
