Also, unique was his Autumn 2019 Everest attempt where a teetering serac created significant danger for his team resulting in him canceling the climb. I caught up with him between expeditions to discuss these climbs plus an update on a lawsuit he recently won and the prospects for Everest 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The good news is the serac has fallen leaving a massive scar in the Khumbu Icefall. If anyone had been there, we would have seen casualties similar to 2014. Garrett&#8217;s Ama Dablam team enjoyed 100% success and he is positive on 2021 climbing prospects.
