Just a quick dispatch to say we will start our Mt. Vinson summit climb mid morning December 9, 2010.<\/p>\n
It should take about 12 hours round trip with the summit in the afternoon – assuming all goes well.<\/p>\n
We made the climb to High Camp today and everyone on the team is doing well.<\/p>\n
Assuming batteries stay charged in the cold, healing<\/a> I will post an audio dispatch from the top of Antarctica.<\/p>\n
As I climb tomorrow, no <\/a> it will be to honor all those – past, present and future who struggle with Alzheimer’s.<\/p>\n
Also, I will gain strength from everyone who pledged a penny or more a foot for research. It is never too late to pledge or donate! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
