Look for the last summits of the 2025 Spring season to happen on the north side of Chomolungma.<\/p>\n<h2>Summit Update<\/h2>\n<p>As has become the norm, the Nepali-led teams summit as soon as possible once the fixed line is in place to the summit, while most Western guides keep their powder dry and wait for the last window to avoid crowds. The only exception to this was Climbing the Seven Summits, which made their pushes in mid-May, with a total of 58 people reaching the summit. They have left EBC already.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/madisonmountaineering.com\/dispatches\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Madison Mountaineering<\/a> summited after a long 10- to 12-hour push in blustery conditions. Garrett Madison topped out for the 15th time, tying the legendary Dave Hahn for the most American summits.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100062343590636\">Kaitu Expedition<\/a> had two Chinese clients with four support climbers who summited. A<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alpineascents.com\/climbs\/mount-everest\/cybercasts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lpine Ascents International <\/a>claimed 100% success, and longtime AAI guide Ben Jones achieved his tenth summit. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/mountainprofessionals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mountain Professionals<\/a>, led by Ryan Waters, also got their team on the summit.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/adventureconsultants.com\/world-renowned\/news-and-media\/current-dispatches\/everest-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Adventure Consultants<\/a> halted their summit push due to high winds yesterday, but are now on their second attempt.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/14peaksexpedition\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">14 Peaks Expedition<\/a> team, a high-end subsidiary of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/sevensummittreks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Seven Summits Treks<\/a>, saw two clients accompanied by five Sherpas summit on the 23<sup>rd<\/sup>, while SST put eleven Chinese clients on Everest&#8217;s summit and four also got Lhotse. \u00a0Setting a record, <a href=\"@nuk_tashi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tashi Gyalzen Sherpa<\/a>, 29, got his fourth Everest summit in 15 days. He was with <a href=\"https:\/\/8kexpeditions.com\/\">8K Expeditions<\/a> and the rope team. Check out their site to see videos of their stellar work.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Over on <strong>Kangchunga<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/imagine-nepal.com\/summit-on-kanchenjunga\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Imagine Nepal<\/a> summited ten people.<\/p>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<p>On the <strong>Tibetan<\/strong> side of Everest, <span class=\"xt0psk2\"><span class=\"xjp7ctv\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/climbalaya\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Climbalaya<\/a><\/span><\/span> has claimed one client with two Sherpas, and I am aware of another client who is ready to go soon.\u00a0Other teams on the side that will ascend before the end of the month include <span class=\"xt0psk2\"><span class=\"xjp7ctv\"><a href=\"https:\/\/alpenglowexpeditions.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alpenglow<\/a>, a Chinese team, <\/span><\/span><span class=\"xt0psk2\"><span class=\"xjp7ctv\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/KoblerPartner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kobler &amp; Partner.<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Runner Update<\/h2>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tylercandrews.com\/everest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tyler Andrews<\/a><\/strong>, 34, is on his second attempt at the speed record for ascending Everest, but will use Os on the upper mountain and K<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DJmDfcSPaB1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">arl Egloff<\/a>, is also running, hoping for a round-trip no Os speed record. May 15\u2013Filipino <strong>Philipp II Santiago<\/strong>, 45, <a href=\"https:\/\/thehimalayantimes.com\/nepal\/first-foreigner-dies-on-everest-as-summit-push-underway\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reportedly<\/a> died of unknown causes at C4 on his Everest ascent with <strong>Snowy Horizon.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>5.
