At the end of the puja ceremony, a tall wooden stick was put up on top of a rock alter. Then prayer flags were tied to the stick and pulled across the camp like a clothesline. My camp had seven strings of flags with one right over my tent. They were very pretty and reminded me of the prayers the Lama said for my safety. | |
