A holy man, called a Lama, came to our basecamp to pray for our safety during our climb. It was during a ceremony called a puja. This is a very special time during the climb. The Lama lives in a monastery or church. He helps people and tries to live a very good life. Lamas are nice people who care about the safety of the climbers. | |
