Great to hear your voice, Alan. The SPOT tracks look like you summited. Take care of yourself.

Good luck with the climb. Hoping for clear weather for you! Will be following…..
Great update from the mountain; great message about Alzheimer’s.
Interesting acclimatization strategy. Very different from our attempt. Seems a great idea NOT to acclimatize through the IceFall so many times. Love following the spot and marking your progress. Looks like you added a little “fun” hike when you finished, up to point #10. Checking out the view perhaps? Be safe.
Thank you Alan. My mother also had Alzheimer’s as well. I look forward to donating to your cause. I was a trekker with IMG last year. Went to EBC with Greg and Justin. Tell them I said Hi. Also please say hello to Jeff G for me – Everest climber this year and was with IMG last year. Wishing you both a very successful six weeks in the Khumbu.
David
