Vinson Summit Push Starts

Just a quick dispatch to say we will start our Mt. Vinson summit climb mid morning December 9, 2010.

It should take about 12 hours round trip with the summit in the afternoon – assuming all goes well.

We made the climb to High Camp today and everyone on the team is doing well.

Assuming batteries stay charged in the cold, healing I will post an audio dispatch from the top of Antarctica.

As I climb tomorrow, no it will be to honor all those – past, present and future who struggle with Alzheimer’s.

Also, I will gain strength from everyone who pledged a penny or more a foot for research. It is never too late to pledge or donate! 🙂
