  1. Alan,
Thank you for the wonderful Mother’s Day message. It is really great to have memories of our moms who supported and challenged us to achieve our dreams, even if they didn’t always understand them!
Keeping you and your team in my thoughts and hoping for that perfect wonderful window.
    Climb on!

  2. So glad you made it down safely from Camp 3! We are still cheering you on from QECVI in Kingston, Ontario and wishing you a good weather window for your summit push! You can do it, Alan — we have faith in you!

  3. Thanks for the Mother’s Day wishes! Our first Mother’s Day without our Moms. Jay’s (my husband) Mother had Alzheimer’s as well. Lots of Mother’s Day memories….which are “Everything”. Wishing you all the strength & energy possible for the rest of your journey.

  4. Thanks for the news in the audio update – nice to see you are safe, in good spirits and keeping in touch so close to the top of the world. All the best.

  5. So glad you are all safely out of that wind. Please pass on to the others that our prayers at NHC have been for Jay and Mirjam and all climbers to continue safely and build memories. So thankful for what you are doing to raise awareness of a disease that steals lives one step at a time.
Please tell Jay we are following his progress on a huge map of Everest…moving his and Mirjam’s photo up and down the mt as we receive info. Looking forward to placing it on the summit. Be blessed and good climbing.

  6. Climb on Alan! A great mother’s day message. All of my prayers and good wishes for you and everyone climbing Everest!

  7. “There is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way” …so do not let materialistic world prove sth else… Just Climb On Alan! Climb On!
