I lost my mom, Ida Arnette, and four aunts to Alzheimer's. Every climb I complete is dedicated to their memory — and to ending this disease for the families who come after us. Please join me in the fight.

- No cure. Always fatal. Every single person diagnosed will die from it.
- 7.4 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's today — projected to reach 13.8 million by 2060
- A new case develops every 3 seconds somewhere in the world
- 6th leading cause of death in the United States — deaths have risen 134% since 2000, while deaths from heart disease and stroke have declined
- 55+ million people worldwide are affected — and no easy, affordable method of early detection exists
- Annual care costs in the US alone exceed $412 billion — borne largely by families
